Having recently moved to Ontario from Western Canada, Telma Asper began her cake decorating career in l988 and has since been successfully involved in the art of sugarcraft.
Having worked in three continents, South Africa, Europe and Canada, Telma has not only become a true master in sugar art, but is also one of Canada's top professionals. Well known throughout Western Canada, she devoted years of her life honouring the weddings of hundreds of Canadians from all backgrounds including well known public figures such as NHL players, Wendel Clark for example, amongst others.
Telma's work and determination, have inspired many younger decorators who sought to perfect their skills through her teachings. Over the years her passion and amazing perfectionalism has been reflected in each hand-crafted masterpiece; from a simple rose to complex and prestigious extension work.
Telma never delegates her work to others. Telma is proud to say that she is 100% behind every cake that carries her name. Thus accepting only one to two orders a week.
Descending from a long bloodline of artists, creativity comes natural. Patience, dedication and the love for what she does, have given Telma the ability to excel in design and elegance.
